Aboutthe Department for Correctional Services
TheDepartment employs approximately 2,000 staff and has responsibilityfor nine prisons and sixteen Community Correctional offices acrossthe state. Our vision is for a safer community by protecting thepublic and reducing re-offending. Duties
As part of asmall team located in the Office for Correctional Services Review(OCSR), the Auditor/Senior Auditor is accountable to the ManagerAudit, Risk and Investigations for driving risk-based prisonsecurity and performance compliance and audit programs.
As thecustodian of the Operational Compliance Framework (OCF), theAuditor/Senior Auditor manages compliance and audit activity toensure prisons and community corrections centres maintainoperational and security standards in accordance with the OCF. Aspart of a wider departmental Centre of Excellence, theAuditor/Senior Auditor undertakes compliance activity, reporting,analysis and auditing in relation to the KPIs underpinning thedepartment’s flagship Prison Performance Framework‘Stronger Performance, Stronger Teams’.
TheAuditor/Senior Auditor is required to collect and analyse largeamounts of disparate data and information and produce high-qualityaudit reports for senior executive stakeholders requiring advancedinterpersonal skills, exemplary report writing and client-focusedresponsiveness consistent with the values and practices of theOffice for Correctional Services review.

2. The incumbent is required to satisfactorily complete a National Criminal History Check;
3. A current South Australian Driver's License is essential;
4. A flexible approach to working hours is required;
5. Some out of hours work may be required;
6. Some interstate and intrastate travel will be required which may necessitate overnight absences
