Additionally, the BPIO-NM will participate in the implementation of performance improvement strategies related to process flow and developing evidence-informed nursing practice. The Business Practice Improvement Officer-Nurse Manager is a managerial role, accountable at an advanced practice level for the coordination of patient-centred clinical practice and the provision of human and material resources within the Emergency The BPIO-NM provides professional and operational leadership and direction to nursing staff and is responsible for the facilitation and provision of quality and cost-effective nursing services which are consistent with contemporary standards and best practice within the Emergency Department. The BPIO-NM utilises data and information to ensure that the service is organised for safety and efficiency and measures are in place to capture the standard of service delivery.
