Now, we need a Distribution Manager to join our dynamic team with the Sapphire Group in Pambula, lead the charge in keeping things running smoothly, and deliver exceptional service to our Trade business.
The Mission
As our Distribution Manager, you’ll oversee the safe and efficient operation of our Trade and Distribution yard, ensuring that our customers get their supplies fast, safe, and right on time. You’ll lead a passionate team that’s dedicated to delivering excellence, growing our customer base, and making every delivery count!
What You’ll Be Doing
1. Leading the Charge: Oversee the safe operation of the Trade and Distribution yard, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
2. On the Dot: Lead the picking, packing, and loading of orders to meet our DIFOT (Delivery in Full, On Time) targets.
3. Fleet Management: Manage our heavy vehicle and forklift fleet, ensuring continuous operations.
4. Building Relationships: Develop strong, lasting relationships with suppliers and customers.
5. Problem Solver: Handle customer queries and complaints with urgency.
What You’ll Bring
Skills to Pay the Bills:
* Intermediate planning and organisational skills
* Complex problem-solving expertise
* A forklift licence (and ideally, heavy vehicle licence)
* A positive ‘can do’ attitude
* A working knowledge of transport legislation and regulations
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
