Heavy Vehicle Mechanic Apprenticeship (Female Identified Role)
Full time
You will complete a Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle qualification over 48 months through a combination of formal training with a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) and practical on-the-job experience with Zeal Futures and our host employer, South Coast Equipment Pty Ltd.
You will have the opportunity to:
* Engage in servicing and maintaining a range of heavy vehicles to ensure optimal performance.
* Learn about auto electrics systems and troubleshooting techniques for heavy vehicles.
* Gain valuable skills in mechanical work.
* Carry out other duties that are within the limits of apprenticeship skills, competence and ability as required.

To be successful in this role, you'll need to meet the following selection criteria:
* Commitment to both on and off the job training.
* Show enthusiasm towards the apprenticeship and learning opportunity.
* Good literacy, numerical, and verbal skills.
* Honest and punctual.
Mandatory Requirements
* Willingness to undergo pre-employment medical checks - standard medical, audiometry, spirometry, drug and alcohol screening, and functional capacity assessment.
* Drivers Licence.
