Job Description:
This is an exciting opportunity for a Visiting Medical Officer to join our service at the Justice Health and Forensic Mental Health Network. We are seeking a qualified healthcare professional with significant experience in General Practice and knowledge of contemporary clinical management.
The Visiting Medical Officer will provide general medical services to patients within correctional environments in Justice Health and Forensic Mental Health Network facilities, working collaboratively with nursing staff and other clinicians.

Key Responsibilities:
* Provide general medical services to patients within correctional environments
* Work collaboratively with nursing staff and other clinicians to enhance existing services
* Contribute to the development of policies and procedures to improve patient outcomes
Requirements:
* Current medical registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
* Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practice (FRACGP) or Australasian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (FACRRM)
* Demonstrated significant experience in General Practice
* Knowledge of contemporary clinical management and modern approaches in assessment and management of acute and chronic medical conditions
