About the role: Fixed term (six months), full time or part time considered The Operations Coordinator is a busy and challenging role supporting the Communications and Engagement Executive Team and the broader Communications and Engagement Branch. The role will work in close collaboration with the Office of the Chief Communications Officer to ensure branch operations run smoothly and efficiently, and that all operational and business support needs are met. The role requires a proactive self-starter with an ability to work with limited supervision in a fast-paced and complex environment. About you: Experienced or a strong interest in Team Coordinator, Executive Assistant or Business Support roles, preferably within a fast-paced and busy environment. Proven skills, knowledge and experience using the relevant Departmental systems, including the Microsoft Office suite, Our Briefings, Oracle and SharePointt. Relevant business administration, project coordination or equivalent experience is desirable. Flexibile and adaptable; open to new ideas; accepts changed priorities without undue discomfort; recognises the merits of different options and acts accordingly. Detail focus: observes fine details; identifies gaps in information; looks for logical sequences of information; highlights practical considerations of plans and activities.
