The College is currently seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced Facilities Manager who is passionate about quality work and preventative maintenance. About the Position The Facilities Manager is responsible for identifying and supporting the implementation of the College's Strategic Plan in relation to the facilities, grounds, assets and services at Rivermount College. Leading, coordinating and participating in the day-to-day operations of our Facilities Team, the Facilities Manager will ensure that the College delivers an immaculate environment providing a positive experience for students, staff and community.This is a very important role in a fast-paced environment. As well as undertaking the administrative functions of this role, you will also be expected to be hands-on with meeting the practical requirements of the department. This is a salaried Full-Time position typically working Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 4:30pm, however flexibility will be required to work evenings and weekends, to support and manage key projects, major works and community events. Selection Criteria: Previous experience as a Facilities, Property and or Maintenance Manager in an education environment, is desirableKnowledge and understanding of OHS and safe work practices.Previous experience in leading, supporting and mentoring a team.Build cooperative working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Competent in using MS Office including, word, excel, and outlook.Strong attention to detail and time management skills.Results driven with the ability to be proactive, adaptable and resourceful.Ability to work under pressure and prioritise work in a fast paced environment.Excellent personal presentation.Hold a current Working with Children Check prior to commencement.
