About the Role
As the Senior Sleep Technician, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the overnight effectiveness of our sleep laboratory. You will train and supervise a dedicated team, guiding them in monitoring patients and implementing interventions to enhance the quality of sleep studies. Your leadership will ensure that all operational duties are performed efficiently, contributing to an optimal environment for both staff and patients.
In addition to your supervisory responsibilities, you will also engage in other essential duties as needed. These include participating in patient assessments, assisting with equipment management, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to refine our protocols and practices. About You
We’re seeking a dedicated Senior Sleep Technician to enhance our sleep laboratory's effectiveness. If you have a passion for patient care and possess the necessary skills to lead a team in a dynamic environment, we’d love to hear from you!
About You:
* Qualified Professional: Hold a Diploma or Advanced Diploma in a relevant technical discipline, with experience in respiratory or neuro-physiological measurements.
* Team Player: Proven ability to foster a collaborative team environment while working effectively in emotionally sensitive situations.
* Empathetic Communicator: Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach to working with patients, ensuring their comfort and understanding throughout their care.
* Self-Motivated Leader: Demonstrated ability to work independently, showing reliability, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of respiratory physiology and therapeutic equipment.
