Truce Production Co. develops and produces film and commercial projects with some of Australia’s most exciting directors.
This is an entry-level position for a detail-oriented and responsible individual who is interested in learning more about commercial production and the film industry. The role will offer a great learning opportunity to be part of a production team and work with experienced producers and directors in a friendly environment.
Successful applicants will show a keen awareness of commercials and films that are being made globally, and demonstrate an appetite to build on their knowledge and skills across all aspects of production.
Primary duties will include looking after the front-of-house such as regularly keeping communal areas clean, servicing clients and other visitors to the office, and running errands. Bonus points if you can make coffee!
Key regular tasks will include assisting production staff with the assembly of pre-production documents, general research, laying up of storyboards and/or animatics, editing casting videos, managing data archiving and assisting the production team on shoots.
Within time, on-the-job training will cover the preparation of pitch documents, including design fundamentals, image research and generation, and final layup.
A summary of general duties includes:
* General office admin and front-of-house duties

* Assisting in-house producers with general requests
* Help on set with productions during shoots
Key expected characteristics are:

* Self-motivated and able to work independently
* Able to work under deadlines and pressure
* Excellent organisation and time management skills.
* Excellent written and oral communication skills
* A hunger to learn
* Must have a car and driver's licence
At a minimum, you will have sufficient capacity to use Google Workspace and Adobe Creative Suite, but please make us aware of any other software or platforms that you have a high level of proficiency with (i.e. Canva, Resolve, Mid-Journey, etc).

SALARY
$50128 pro-rata + Super and loadings
Full-time, 5 days per week. 40 hours.
