Data Governance Analyst plays a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy, quality, and compliance of data across the Australia Retail Division. The successful candidate will collaborate with stakeholders to achieve data-driven outcomes, challenge the status quo, and drive innovative solutions while adhering to regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the team and stakeholders in achieving compliance and delivering Customer and Banker outcomes where data underpins the requirement.
* Drive innovative outcomes into the division and challenge the status quo while understanding the regulatory requirements of the Bank.
* Map and catalogue data elements and data assets, addressing any data quality shortcomings identified in our divisions data.
* Address data quality issues and drive remediation activities and execution.
* Analyse and ensure data aspects are a key part of process and system evolution, including partnering in the delivery of solutions in collaboration with the business, technology, and initiative teams.
* Deliver against committed milestones.
* Support/identify and address constraints that hinder progress, escalating as appropriate.
* Maintain ANZ's core values in dealing with staff, colleagues, and customers.
Requirements:
* Collaborate effectively with team members and partners within the Portfolio, Data, Technology, Risk, and other divisions.
* Apply data management principles to ensure data is accurate and of quality.
* Help ensure data is organised, managed, and leveraged within the division according to data policy and standards.
* Support multiple tribes in Australia Retail with the delivery of data outcomes – including understanding requirements, analysing, and supporting process and process evolution resulting in high-quality data.
* Manage activities and issues to drive business value with data as a focus.
