LOCATION: Regional NSW (confidential for now) DURATION OF CONTRACT: 3 months (possible extension) SALARY: Up to $100 an hour depending on experience as a Facility Manager/Leader in aged care I'm doing something different with this ad, I will tell you the situation in the facility, what you can expect from your day-to-day, and what we expect from you if you are successful. I have been supporting this client for the last 2 years, when we began they were extremely non-compliant, there were dangers in multiple aspects of care, and the culture was driving out management quickly. Slowly we have seen a consistent change, compliance is high, the residents are happier, the team are getting along for the most part, however there is still a lack of a strong clinical leader that also has high EQ and empathy. The role requires a lot of balance to ensure compliance and the standard of care are steadily improving, but also to ensure the team feel seen, heard and cared for. The operations include clinical reporting, financial reporting, updating stakeholders with any outstanding projects, rostering, and supporting staff. You have a strong clinical team to look after the residents and run the floor. You also have a strong leadership team to lean on for support when required. I am looking for 2 types of people that I believe will work well here. The first is a proven Facility Manager that has turned a facility around and has the energy to do it again. The second is a specialised Consultant that works with facilities to improve both clinical standards and workplace culture.
