Your part in Buderim Private Hospital
The Hospital RMO supports our Visiting Medical Officers by:
* Admitting new patients to the hospital after-hours;
* Providing clinical support to the VMOs and Clinical Staff after-hours;
* Reviewing patients as requested by Clinical Staff and the VMOs;
* Discussing management of patients and initiating appropriate management, and arranging for investigations to be carried out as appropriate.
What makes a difference for us?
You will be an experienced Medical Practitioner with a demonstrated passion for delivering person-centred care through living our values and exceptional communication. In alignment with our values, you have a commitment to ongoing professional development and will present with:
* Current & unrestricted general registration as a medical practitioner with AHPRA
* PGY3 and above
* Minimum of 3 years post-graduate experience
* Experience in and available to work in Critical Care Unit (desirable)
* Recent relevant acute care experience and confidence in managing complex patients
* Understanding of National Safety and Quality in Health care standards
* Workplace Health and Safety Act and infection control procedures
* Availability to work all shifts including AM, PM and nights
* Advanced Life Support Training
* Current Working Rights in Australia
