We are seeking a dynamic leader to join our team and drive our information and communication technology initiatives.About the role:As the Manager Information Technology and Cyber Security, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our technology infrastructure aligns with GWMWater’s strategic and operational objectives. Reporting directly to the Managing Director and collaborating with the Information Technology Governance Committee, you will lead the development and implementation of our Information Communication Technology and Cyber Security Strategy. This is a Horsham based role, relocation assistance will be offered as needed.About you. We’re looking for:A leader who is customer and people focused,A business enabler and collaborator,Proven experience in IT systems strategy and delivery,Strong, effective communication skills,Vendor management experience, andWater or utilities experience highly regarded but not essential.Your Responsibilities:Develop and oversee technology frameworks, policies, and standards to enhance operational efficiency.Share technological visions and insights across the organisation, ensuring alignment with risk management objectives.Foster a culture of digital innovation and operational excellence, positioning GWMWater as a leader in digital utility services.Implement best practices in cyber security to safeguard our data and systems.Develop disaster recovery and business continuity plans to mitigate risks from ICT disruptions.Manage budgets and resource proposals to support technology strategies and operational requirements.Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing Technology and cyber security team.Ensure compliance with the Victorian Protective Data Security Framework.Key requirements:Proven experience in IT systems strategy and deliveryVendor ManagementStrong effective communicatorBusiness enabler and collaboratorCustomer and people focussedWater or utilities experience will be highly regarded but not essentialYour Qualifications:A degree in Information and Communication Technology or a related field.Strong leadership capabilities to motivate and guide a specialist team in a commercial environment.Experience in developing and implementing IT systems that support organisational goals.Excellent interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills.Desirable Qualifications:Postgraduate qualifications in IT or a related discipline.Management qualifications (e.g., MBA).Certifications in PRINCE2 or ITIL.Additional information:Horsham based role; relocation assistance offered.Senior Leadership role with a focus on Business enablement and collaboration.Refresh IT strategy and execute it to best practice.
