The Emergency Centre is a fast-paced, challenging, but rewarding environment.
Reporting to our highly experienced and supportive Nurse Unit Manager (NUM), you will assess, plan, evaluate, and deliver holistic nursing care in accordance with the National Competency Standards and Adventist HealthCare policies and procedures.
We will set you up for success in this role by ensuring you have a detailed orientation and new starter training program, as well as offering ongoing support from our dedicated Clinical Nurse Educator.
This is a casual position, and the successful candidate will have flexible availability to work a range of 8, 10, and 12-hour shifts across morning, afternoons, and nights.
Who we're looking for You'll hold current AHPRA registration with a minimum of 3 years of experience within an Emergency or Critical Care setting (Must have).You'll have the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and have strong time management skills.You'll have demonstrated elevated levels of empathy and strong emotional intelligence.You'll be an exceptional communicator (both verbally and written) with demonstrated experience in professionally communicating with patients, their families, and colleagues.You'll have flexible availability and be available to work a range of shifts across morning, afternoon, and nights.You'll hold full Australian working rights.About Us Adventist HealthCare owns and operates San Day Surgery, Hornsby, and the Sydney Adventist Hospital (fondly known as the San).
