The Location
Coffs Harbour is a coastal city on the north coast of New South Wales, Australia. It’s known for its stunning beaches, water based activities, excellent shopping and award winning food and drink. You can walk above a rainforest canopy in a World Heritage wilderness or take one of the charters to the marine park, a haven for grey nurse sharks, turtles and whales in migrating season.
It is 4 hours of Brisbane, 4 hours North of Newcastle and 5 and a half hours North of Sydney. It is one of the largest urban centres on the North Coast, with an estimated population of 71,822 in 2018.It has a number of primary and secondary school, the city has a campus of Southern Cross University, and a campus of Rural Faculty of Medicine University of New South Wales, there is also a public and a private hospital.
There are regular passenger flights each day to Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane departing from Coffs Harbour Airport. It is also accessible by road, by NSW train link, and by regular bus services.
