We provide scaffolding, full access solutions, insulation, cladding, design, and engineering alongside our on-call hireable skilled labour force of scaffolders, sheet metal workers, rope access technicians, riggers, and crane and hoist operators.The Role Caledonia's point of difference is our in-house design and engineering team. We are seeking a highly skilled, qualified Chartered Design Engineer with temporary works experience to be based in Granville for project work and as part of our national engineering team.Reporting to the State Manager and working closely with our Site Operations Team.In this role you will be responsible for: Preparing sketches, charts, tabulations, plans, and designs for civil engineering worksDelivering high end structural visualisation of scope of works to our clients through the production of 3D drawings.Liaise with all relevant stakeholders including attending site meetings and inspections to ensure we are delivering exceptional service.Provision of timely and accurate drawings and documentation for all tender submissionsCertifications of Drawing and Calculations The Candidate You will have a minimum of 7 years + engineering experience (preferably within the scaffolding industry) or experience in formwork and temporary structures, as well as previous site-based experience (highly preferred)Degree qualified and a Chartered member of Engineers Australia, you will have a strong understanding and practice of structural design and a strong drafting skill and a strong working knowledge of Australian Building Codes and Standards.Proficiency across a range of software packages such as AutoCAD, Sketchup3D, Revit, Robot Structural Analysis, your strengths will be your strong technical ability and conceptual understanding.You will be a solid communicator with high attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
