Quality Assurance & Control (Construction) Full time Future Generation Joint Venture (FGJV) is the principal contractor for Snowy Hydro's Snowy 2.0, Australia's largest committed renewable energy project. We bring the combined engineering expertise of three companies - Italy's Webuild (formerly Salini Impregilo), Australian-based Clough and US-based Lane Construction. Purpose of the Role: The purpose of the Quality Control Engineer is to ensure that processes needed for the project quality management system are implemented and maintained on the relevant project selection. This role also facilitates the exchange of information between design and construction departments to ensure correct and timely communication of any issues or upcoming design changes. This role ensures the promotion of awareness of client quality requirements throughout the relevant project section. Experience: Internships, co-op placements or project experience related to quality control engineering will be an advantage. Experience in quality management and construction. Good understanding of Quality Specification (Q6) and ISO AS/NZS 9001 requirements. Good understanding of construction, concrete pre-casting processes, methods, and specifications. Good understanding of Infrastructure / Construction specifications. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across different levels. Ability to work collaboratively and meet deadlines under pressure. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Competent and proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite including Excel and Word. Core Accountabilities and Responsibilities: Meets commitments, works independently, accepts accountability, and handles change. Assists the Quality Manager to maintain the quality management system and ensure compliance with FGJV Quality Management System and ISO 9001 requirements. Prepare and maintain Project system & technical audit schedule, draft audit reports, and get them approved by the Quality Manager. Attend external audits as delegated by the Project Quality Manager. Verify the implementation of remedial and preventative actions proposed in NCRs. Undertake quality inspections both onsite and in supplier and subcontractor worksites. Attend regular Quality and construction meetings in your area of responsibility. Review Construction Method Statements, ITPs, and other construction documents for compliance. #J-18808-Ljbffr
