The Net Zero Transport team delivers $330 million in initiatives focusing on fleets, EV charging and consumer information, to accelerate the uptake of EVs in NSW.
You will be:
1. working in a team that aims to deliver tangible outcomes across?6 major initiatives - from ensuring there is a sufficient mix of charging options across fast chargers, regional destinations, apartment retrofits and kerbside charging, to supporting fleets to transition to EVs and creating a suite of consumer information to inform and empower potential NSW EV motorists.
As required, your enthusiasm and attention to detail will also be utilised in the delivery of other initiatives designed to support the electrification of fleets.
This role will manage 1 project officer and 1 assistant project officer and is responsible for project managing projects within a $105 million budget envelope through to 30 June 2027.

Key knowledge and experience
2. Superior knowledge of operational requirements for successful delivery of sustainability, transport/fleet management, energy, climate change, resilience, adaptation and/or net zero emissions programs
3. Project management skills demonstrating the ability to deliver agreed outcomes on time, on budget, and to quality standards, and demonstrated time management and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise competing demands
4. Excellent communication and presentation skills (verbal and written)
5. Ability to exercise sound judgement and discretion and ensure effectiveness, accountability and transparency
6. Understanding of contract and/or grant management
Desirable Requirements
7. Understanding of sustainability drivers across government (local and state) or industry and how to?use these to drive change.?
8. Passion and experience working with the fleets or transport sectors and/or electric vehicles and their enabling technologies.
9. Project management, environmental science and/or sustainability disciplines with knowledge of energy and resource efficiency and/or net zero and/or renewable energy and/or transport decarbonisation solutions.
10. Strong project management and delivery experience relating to transport decarbonisation, energy efficiency, resource efficiency, and/or renewable energy.
