Business/Systems Analysts (Information & Communication Technology) Government - State (Government & Defence) Contract/Temp The Department of Justice and Community Safety (the department) is seeking a Senior Change Analyst to provide a critical role within Technology Solutions and Data Security. About the Business Unit Technology Services and Data Security explores and employs technology to enable the department's business to function via the use of modern, appropriate platforms, products and services. It supports enterprise-wide platforms and services including critical applications, networks, telecommunication, call centres, hosting, intranet/internet sites; delivers business and corporate funded project; and oversees the delivering of services provided by technology service providers such as Cenitex. About the Role The change analyst is responsible for identifying the impacts resulting from changes to people, process, systems and culture. The role will contribute to the development and delivery of key documentation to support the successful implementation of change activities resulting from that analysis. They will also support the Change Manager in ensuring the overall change management implementation is aligned to the program, Model Office research and the business operations, including the key external stakeholders and users. Some of your duties will include: Develop and deliver effective change management plans and other relevant collateral to support the effective implementation of the program. Plan and assist the Change Lead in the facilitation of change impact discussions with stakeholders to identify and quantify impacts, risks and issues across the impacted business and technology functions. Work collaboratively with all operational business groups to understand the current and future state and enhance high-level process documentation in consultation with Product Owners and other SMEs for the purpose of change readiness. About you To be successful in this role, you will have: Technical Expertise Proven knowledge and application of change management frameworks and working experience in a Change Analyst role; ideally within a large-scale agile delivery transformation program (business and technology change management). Developing business readiness, implementation and support models in close conjunction with stakeholders to reduce business disruption, increase take-up and improve the customer experience. Experience translating business and/or technology change impacts into training materials; and supporting train-the-trainer program development is highly regarded. A strong blend of change, stakeholder management and communication skills to support the highly influential engagement model. Qualifications Relevant Organisational Change Management qualification and/or demonstrated equivalent professional experience. Change management, design thinking, and agile training and certifications is desirable. Change experience in the application of the Prosci methodology is desirable.
