Develop HR procedures and ensure Taronga’s Awards are maintained and acted upon, including liaison with relevant NSW government agencies, unions, and delegations, and the coordination of the Joint Consultation Committees.Conduct investigations into grievances, misconduct, and unsatisfactory performance.Develop and maintain relationships with appropriate stakeholders both internal and external, in particular all Unions party to Taronga’s award and relevant NSW government agencies.Assist the Human Resource team to develop training programs and materials to address the learning needs of the organisation and its people.Provide support to the WHS team regarding Workers Compensation and non-work-related injuries as they impact employee relations issues.Develop tools to support the implementation of HR initiatives. Proactively source people data, drawing insights that impact business outcomes and mitigate risks to help inform people strategies.General HR duties including drafting employment contracts, letters and reports, updating organisational charts and position descriptions, and maintaining employee files.
