THE POSITION Working in a small team of 4, reporting to the Managing Director, you will take full responsibility for the Fixed Assets and Inventory register, proving accurate and detailed reports to ensure the full monthly reporting package is delivered on time. Liaison with the US is a regular occurrence, so peer knowledge sharing and learning is best practice. Responsibilities include: Support the Managing Director working within finance to manage the full accounts for the three business entities Assisting in year-end preparation, annual Audit, budgeting and forecasting Undertake full ownership of NetSuite system and processes for the region Work closely with Head Office to implement and maintain Netsuite processes and tasks in the areas of Inventory, Fixed Assets, Leases, Location Analysis and Commissions Develop a strong understanding of system processes and identify value adds and suggest improvements Track and manage Inventory in line with Netsuite processes this includes maintaining inventory records, conducting physical inventory counts, and reconciliations Ensure timely and accurate accounting for project costs and fixed assets Ensure all asset transactions including capitalisations, transfers and disposals are correctly recorded Reconciliation of fixed asset ledger with general accounts Assist management when planning projects that involve capital investments THE PERSON To be rewarded with a great culture and true flexibility, we are looking for an independent and experienced Financial Accountant, that has excellent systems skills and attention to detail. Advanced Excel and ideally experience in NetSuite would be an advantage. The willingness to travel nationally to build relationships and understand inventory movements will make life interesting. As their will be regular visits to major airports, the ability to pass strict background checks is a must.
