The Role
As an Experienced Maintenance Employee in the Sealed Roads team, youwill use your high level of skills and knowledge to perform a range of assetand infrastructure maintenance and Civil Construction activities throughout theLatrobe City municipality.
Working hours will be from 7:AM – 4:PM with 9 day fortnight.Workdays will be starting and concluding at Latrobe City Council’s depot atDriffield Rd, Morwell.
About You
For this role we are seeking an experienced road maintenance employeewith drive to produce work of the highest quality. You will have demonstratedskills and experience across the range of plant and equipment typically used inthe maintenance of roads, drainage and vegetation.
Your communication will be friendly and professional to be able to communicatewith the public, clients and other employees, displaying practical examples ofliving Latrobe City Council’s values- Accountability, Trust, Collaboration and Innovation
You will have:
1. Current Heavy Rigid Vehicle Licence
2. Current Traffic Control and Worksite Management certificate.
3. Construction Induction (White Card)
4. Current First Aid (Preferred).
5. Competency operating plant and vehicles used in road maintenanceincluding but not limited to Tractor and slasher/reach mower, motor grader,skid steer loader, excavator, compaction equipment and flocon
6. Practical experience undertaking road and drainage maintenance and civilconstruction works.
7. Possess a basic level of digital literacy with an advanced level ofdigital literacy highly desirable.
8. Experience working with a Municipal Council or similar authority isdesirable
