About the role We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our finance team in Dandenong South. This is a newly created position that will play a crucial role in managing the workflow of financial tasks across our team as well as being responsible for leading various projects to automation processes such as Optical Characters Recognition. Initially, you will lead and manage returns and escalated adjustments through our internal (RA) Returns system. Ensuring the escalation of product returns or claims are handled in a timely manner. You will also: Manage the end-to-end process for both AP and AR, ensuring timely and accurate payment and invoicing. Review and discuss monthly Debtors and manage credits to customers. Oversee the preparation and management of cash-flow forecasting. Oversee the RA System ensuring it is maintained and kept current, supporting all the credits or claims. Actively coordinate and follow up rebates and/or Recipient Customer Adjustment Note (RACN) with the Sales team to ensure adjustments are reflected on a timely basis. Ensure all claims and pricing discrepancies are resolve and processed in a timely manner. Work closely with RA and Service Co-ordinator and Warehouse Supervisor for their approval and returned stock, to ensure appropriate level of documentation and investigative work is conducted to support timely and accurately in processing credits. Contribute to the continuous improvement of the business by actively identifying opportunities to improve and standardised processes and/or procedures for key accounting activities. Conduct weekly bank reconciliations including reconciliation on-line sales. Provide general support with day-to-day business operations, including maintaining accurate records, liaising with suppliers, and managing internal documents.
