Atlas Copco Specialty Rental is a division within Atlas Copco’s Power Technique business area. It serves customers in all industry segments around the world with temporary air, power, flow, steam and nitrogen rental solutions.
Role:
Be an active member in the Finance team in a variety of matters ranging from account receivables/payables, financial reporting, data and business analysis. Provide support to the Business Controller and Rental Management team, facilitating informed decision-making and fostering a strategic business partnership. We are seeking a dynamic individual who is adaptable to change, eager to learn new skills, and embraces change with a positive attitude.
Key Duties:
1. Develop and implement robust internal control procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure the accuracy of financial records.
2. Regularly review and update company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with ‘The Way We Do Things’, IFRS guidelines and local statutory rules.
3. Performing monthly/quarterly/annual reporting, effective time management to meet all reporting and project deadlines.
4. Preparation of balance sheet reconciliation, review, and follow-up on outstanding items.
5. Analyse past results, perform variance analysis, identify & analyse trends and make recommendations for improvements & optimization.
6. Interpret financial data and complex financial information and present it in a clear, actionable manner.
7. Use various tools (Power BI, Microsoft Query etc.) to create data visualization to highlight key metrics and financial performance.
8. Ensure data integrity and accuracy, maintain data in ERP system.
9. Support Business Controller in budgeting and planning process, CRM / BRM preparation, management reports etc.
10. Providing accurate and timely information to other business areas
11. Asset management – maintaining company’s tangible assets, maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with Group policy.
12. Management of the expense claims
13. Be an active member in ad-hoc projects.
14. Provide support to external/internal auditor, annual taxation information as required.
15. Provide guidance and support to the broader finance team for transactional accounting functions, such as accounts receivable and accounts payable
What we expect from you:
16. University degree in Economics, Accounting, Business Administration or similar academic background.
17. 2-4 years of experience in accounting
18. High level of analytical skills.
19. High level of communication and organisational skills.
20. High level of attention to detail.
21. Intermediate PC skills with advanced skills in excel.
22. Exposure to ERP would be desirable.
