MSBase is designed for clinicians working in the field of multiple sclerosis (MS) and other neuroimmunological diseases (NIDs).The MSBase Foundation supports Registry members by providing freely available data-entry tools, scientific and governance support. The Registry commenced in 2004 and has accumulated over 85,000 patient records from forty countries, and is the largest organised global repository of longitudinal, 'real-world' MS patient data. The Registry aims to advance collaborative outcomes research to better understand neuroimmunological diseases and to improve healthcare for those living with MS or other NIDs.The MSBase office is housed in the Monash School of Translational Medicine at the Alfred Centre. The STM is a centre for clinical and biomedical research and education and a core hub for translational research and medicine, covering a great breadth of subject areas.To learn more about MSBase, please visit www.msbase.orgThe RoleThe MSBase Foundation is looking to appoint a Full Stack / Solution Architect to join our inclusive and supportive team as we embark on an innovative cloud modernisation program including development of a new web app, and redevelopment of key components of the existing Azure infrastructure. This will be a richly rewarding position and a truly unique opportunity to be a part of cutting-edge technology in neuroimmunology research.You will have in-depth and diverse technical experience and will provide technical guidance to the MSBase Operations Team from a strategic and operational, on-the-ground perspective. Together with the Head of IT, you will be responsible for the leadership and management of the IT strategy, roadmap, infrastructure, architecture and all MSBase IT platforms and software tools.The successful candidate will play a critical and pivotal role in designing, developing and maintaining the MSBase primary research software applications and Azure platform, working with a team on a large-scale Cloud modernisation and uplift Program. This will involve migration from legacy applications. Development of these applications will be mostly undertaken by MSBase Technology Partners.
