About the RoleReporting to the Director Client Projects, the Systems Accountant takes the lead role and is responsible for the implementation, support and continuous improvement of our Financial Suite of modules with new and existing Care Systems' customers. There is a requirement for hands-on financial support to assist in meeting customer deliverables when required. There is also an opportunity for the incumbent to develop, implement and manage a quality framework. What you will be doingWork with new and existing customers to facilitate timely and accurate preparation of financial and management accounts, statutory returns and other financial reporting for customers, including conducting end of year reviews where needed.Respond to customer requests and troubleshoot and problem-solve user issues for customers where required, including review and analysis of systems and processes.Continuous review and updating of internal procedures, processes and checklists.Conduct financial health checks on all customers as required.Undertake product demonstrations to prospective, new and existing customers.Work with new and existing customers to configure systems and implement modules.Create, build and manage learning documentation.Deliver training to customers and ensure knowledge transfer to customer staff.Development of reporting packs, charts of accounts and similar for customers' use.Investigate, troubleshoot and problem-solve any finance system user issues for customers.Conduct internal training to educate other members of the Operations and Implementation teams on common user issues.Work closely with the Development Team to validate, improve and build out product features.Assist in identifying, building and testing systems for accounting purposes.Be involved with developing quality management and international standards. About YouYou are an experienced and qualified Systems Accountant with excellent finance reconciliation skills. You may be CA/CPA qualified.You are most comfortable rolling up your sleeves and getting the job done within a busy and supportive team.You can work under pressure and juggle multiple priorities and deadlines.You are enthusiastic and self-motivated and are someone who has a can-do attitude and great communication skills with customers and co-workers. We would love to hear from you if you have:Tertiary qualifications in accounting, finance or IT related discipline.5+ years of demonstrated experience in systems/and or accounting roles.Knowledge of the Aged Care/Home Care industry is desirable but not essential.An analytical mind with the ability to critically assess data and make objective judgements.Experience in working with data analysis tools such as SQL.Effective interpersonal skills to drive positive outcomes and build relationships with key stakeholders both internal and external and communicate, influence and negotiate outcomes.The ability to travel and attend customer sites as required including possessing a current Australian Driving Licence.Knowledge and experience of quality assurance practices would be advantageous but not essential.
