Procurement Asset Manager
Randstad is currently searching for a Procurement Asset Manager on behalf of one of our clients located in Perth. This short-term contract offers the potential for a permanent full-time position, focusing on capital procurement, category management, and project leadership in a dynamic environment.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Manage strategic medium to high risk procurement projects for infrastructure, capital and services.
2. Research, analyses and reviews asset management issues.
3. Demonstrated ability to effectively lead and supervise staff.
4. Provide a range of project management services to contribute to the development and delivery of assets, services and equipment.
5. Ensuring project obligations are met so that work is completed on time and according to budget.
6. Providing a high level of stakeholder engagement with internal customers, and demonstrating superior relationship management and influencing skills with internal and external parties.
7. Demonstrated ability to effectively lead and supervise staff.
8. Work closely with project managers and corporate team members.
Key requirements include:
9. Extensive experience in Asset Management in a procurement environment.
10. Tertiary qualifications in procurement, engineering, business management, commerce, or similar are highly regarded.
11. Full working rights in Australia.
12. Excellent communication, relationship management, and problem-solving abilities.
13. Strong skills in research and analysis, able to simplify complex information for practical use.
