Global Senior Treasury ManagerJob no: 577747Work type: Full timeLocation: Corporate Services - NSW MetropolitanCategories: Accounting/Payroll/FinanceThe OpportunityAs a key member of a newly created role within a dynamic treasury team, the Senior Treasury Manager reports directly to the Group Treasurer, collaborating closely to oversee and optimise treasury operations for the group. This position is particularly focused on managing funding, liquidity, and capital strategies.What You'll DoYour day-to-day responsibilities will involve, but are not limited to:Lead the execution of the funding strategy, including activities in the loan and debt capital markets. This involves negotiating pricing and terms, developing syndication strategies with lenders, and managing key stakeholder relationships (e.g. lenders, external counsel, and internal teams) to optimise leverage ratios, weighted average debt maturity, and diversify the lender base.Support daily treasury operations, including liquidity management, cash flow oversight, foreign exchange, and interest rate hedging.Ensure transactions are executed efficiently and in a timely manner, maintaining appropriate controls, compliance, and reporting within Treasury Policies and delegated authorities.Oversee adherence to financial regulations and internal policies, ensuring the accurate and timely submission of all required documentation.Develop and implement internal controls and ensure compliance with corporate policies. Prepare treasury-related reports for the Group Treasurer to present to senior management and the board of directors.Collaborate with departments such as finance, accounting, and legal to ensure a unified approach to treasury management.Lead technology and transformation initiatives within the treasury function, leveraging advanced financial systems and technologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness.What You'll BringBachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field.
