LARGE COMPLEX INFRASTRUCTURE SERVICES BUSINESS LEAD & INFLUENCE CHANGE AT THE PORTFOLIO LEVEL $ATTRACTIVE / BRISBANE OR MELBOURNE BASED We have been retained by the Chief Technology Officer and ExCo of this large critical infrastructure services business. This complex business provides a multitude of services through some 3,000+ geographically dispersed technical skilled employees. In this pivotal role you will lead and influence the organisation's enterprise delivery portfolio outcomes and their success. You will take oversight of a number of key strategic programs and projects already underway each with multi-million-dollar budgets and critical in their delivery. Customer-centric and adept at bringing together multiple stakeholders, coupled with a solid track record of leading change and transformation enterprise-wide is essential. The Head of Transformation is a newly established position and works closely across the Executive Leadership Team and several Portfolio Leaders enterprise-wide. You will be responsible for supporting the Chief Technology Officer in leading and managing a complex, multi-disciplinary business transformation portfolio, across both Enterprise IT and mission critical Operational Technology environments. You will drive the transformation process by continuing to push forward, challenge the status quo and find innovative ways to drive execution. A key challenge will be your ability to influence a broad cross section of stakeholders where transformation and change may not be in everyone's DNA. Your expertise: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field such as finance, business administration or technology. An early career in Management Consulting (eg Cap Gem / Accenture / IBM) complemented with a minimum of 8 years of corporate experience in business/technology transformation programs. A strong understanding at an Enterprise level of Technology Enablement and Digital transformation ideally gained in complex sectors: Infrastructure / Telco / Mining / Healthcare / Govt. Strong project management skills, including experience with project planning, risk management, and governance. Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with teams and stakeholders at all levels. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively and outside the box. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely (to Board level). Strong financial analysis skills, with experience in preparing business cases and defining value drivers.
