Aircraft Maintenance Engineers (AME) - Structures Richmond, NSW About the opportunity Airbus is currently seeking Aircraft Maintenance Engineers - Structures to join our Richmond based maintenance team in permanent full-time positions. Airbus in Australia Pacific is the leading contractor for the RAAF fleet of 12 C-130J Hercules transport aircraft. About the role Our AME Structures team members are responsible to carry out inspection, repair, refurbishment, modification and recovery in support of Industry specific tasks, such as advanced structural repair and aircraft and/or component modifications on sheet metal and composite structures. You will work within your competency and authorisation to contribute to the achievement of aircraft maintenance targets, and may be assigned to a number of other maintenance projects undertaken by Airbus within the facility. About you As a key member of the Richmond Maintenance Team, you will work closely with a large and inclusive team of technical experts focused on success. To be successful in this role, it is a requirement to be able to work in a team environment. You will need to be someone who is able to work autonomously and to tight deadlines and work comfortably in a continuous improvement work environment. The knowledge, skills and experience best suited to this role would include: Cert IV in Aeroskills (Structures) or equivalent issued by a Registered Training Organisation Ability to obtain a Military Aircraft Maintenance License (MAML) High-Level aviation airworthiness regulatory knowledge and it's applicability in the relevant environment Understanding of relevant aircraft maintenance documentation and practices Knowledge of and experience using Interactive Electronic Technical Publications High-level communication skills, both verbal and written High-level computer skills in Microsoft Office applications About Us Airbus is a global leader in aeronautics, space and related services.
