Your New Role
As a new Senior Risk Analyst within the team, you will work closely with the Risk Manager to support the delivery of Line 1 risk management activities across the Member domain including, identifying and mitigating business risks through the identification and documentation of controls, assisting with conducting material and business risk assessments, monitoring the implementation of action plans and findings, and managing incidents effectively.
You will collaborate with business stakeholders to help ensure the relevant amount of risk is being taken to deliver on strategy and that appropriate business risks, controls and indicators are in place.
Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Collaborate with business stakeholders to manage risk in alignment with the Fund's Risk Management Framework.
Support the delivery of the control testing plan for the Member domain through performing controls testing and control self-assessment validations.
Build and maintain strong relationships with both Line 1 and Line 2 teams to facilitate greater collaboration across the Fund with regards to risk management.
Contribute to relevant risk reporting/dashboards for Senior Management and Board Committees through the provision of insights and trend analysis.
Recommend continuous improvement to operational risk frameworks, policies, standards, and procedures.
What You'll Need
5 + years' experience in Operational Risk, within Financial Services or highly regulated industry Previous experience working in line 1 risk Strong working knowledge of risk and compliance frameworks Knowledge and understanding of incident management Critical thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills (oral and written).
Ability to develop and maintain high quality interpersonal relationships with stakeholders at all levels Experience in working autonomously, setting and managing competing priorities and meeting specified timeframes Self-starter and comfortable working in a rapidly changing environment.
