Clinical Nurse Educator
The University of Melbourne is seeking a Clinical Nurse Educator to join our team at the Royal Melbourne Hospital.
Key Responsibilities:
* Instruct and Assess Medical Students: Deliver hands-on training in procedural skills, clinical techniques, and equipment use as outlined in the curriculum.
* Coordinate Clinical Skills Program: Organise and implement the procedural skills, resuscitation, and simulation education program for postgraduate medical students.
* Prepare Teaching Materials: Set up equipment and materials for procedural skills and simulation sessions, ensuring a high-quality learning environment.
* Collaborate with Medical Educators: Liaise with clinical teachers, tutors, and staff to plan sessions and maintain educational standards.
Requirements:
* Registered Nurse with extensive clinical experience.
* Passion for teaching and ability to effectively instruct medical students in a range of clinical procedures and skills.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
* Experience in small group clinical teaching and understanding of medical students' diverse needs.
