Desktop Project Supervisor - Residential Construction - Gold Coast (Multi-Sites)

Our client is a small yet growing home builder located on the Gold Coast. Due to a buoyant workload and growth aspirations, they are seeking to recruit a Desktop Site Supervisor to help with the delivery of multiple builds across the Gold Coast and Brisbane.
The business has gone from strength to strength over the past 3 years, now has a busy forecast ahead with work throughout the Gold Coast and towards Southern Brisbane. The core focus of the business is secondary dwellings builds or granny flat construction, but looking to move into primary homes too.
About the Role
In this position, you will be predominantly office-based in Robina and as such there is a large focus on your project management skills which will ensure your portfolio (of between 5-20 builds) is managed on time, within budget and to a high standard all whilst maintaining outstanding customer service. There will be project coordination, programming and regular communications with trades, however, there will also be visits to site where your site management skills will be called upon, ensuring project workmanship is being delivered to standard.
Your day-to-day duties will include (but not limited to):
* Desktop and project management. You will program and coordinate trades out of the office in Robina.
* Managing multiple sites as Supervisor.
* Client and stakeholder management, a high level of customer communication is key.
* Oversee all aspects of the construction site, including safety, quality, schedule, and budget.
* Liaising with an extensive trade base, allocating and scheduling works.
* Monitor work progress and ensure that work is being carried out to the highest standards.
* Supervise and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and workers on site.
* Ensure that all safety procedures and regulations are being followed on site.
* Manage and maintain accurate records of site activities.
To be successful for this role you'll need:
* A core understanding of residential construction from a supervisory and project management perspective.
* Strong client and customer focus/management.
* An understanding of budgets and planning.
* A network of Gold Coast and Brisbane based trades to call upon would be highly beneficial.
* Experience with BuilderTrend – planning, pricing & scheduling software would be desirable.
* Someone to help us develop processes and paperwork and build the systems as we grow.
* Well organised, strong work ethic, enthusiastic, motivated.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong knowledge of residential construction practices, techniques, and materials.
* Experience managing multiple sites and be well organised.
* Desktop/IT proficient – the position is a predominantly office-based management role.
* Willing to travel between Brisbane and the Gold Coast.
* Strong personality – push trades to ensure quality of work and work completed in a timely fashion.
