You’ll make a difference in the residential home by: Providing excellent, resident-focused care in relation to specialised nursing needs, such as management of diabetes, wounds, infections, pain and medications Maintaining documentation; completing resident assessments, incident investigation and related care documents in accordance with policies, and procedures and meeting accreditation standards Overseeing the administration of day-to-day tasks as relates to the provision of clinical care to achieve best resident outcomes and undertaking clinical monitoring of residents and escalating changes as required Applying sound decision-making skills to make effective use of all resources Providing employees with clear direction and guidance and actively promoting positive working relationships. The NDIS Check lasts for 5 years and can be used with any organisation / employer. You can find out more information about it here.
