Reporting to the General Manager Operations, this is a customer focused role that promotes and develops increased participation in health, social and recreational activities for our guests and team members of all ages and abilities. This role works across 4 Civeo Villages within the Bowen Basin - Moranbah, Dysart, Middlemount and Nebo offering a lifestyle friendly roster of 8 days on / 6 days off, Drive in / Drive Out and locals are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide a high quality of service to our guests and team members.
2. Actively promote lifestyle events at site that drive our guests and team members engagement.
3. Deliver group fitness classes, individual health assessments and meal plans.
4. Develop and facilitate nutrition, portion control and healthy meal workshops.
5. Develop and co-ordinate health and fitness challenges to help guests and team members to meet their goals along with social activities such as Trivia nights, Pool Competitions etc.
6. Continuously keeping abreast of new industry initiatives to ensure best practice health and fitness practices through ongoing research and education.
To be successful, you will have:
7. A passion for physical and mental health wellbeing
8. Certificate IV in Fitness or a Degree in Exercise Physiology, Sports Science or similar
9. Group exercise qualification
10. Advanced First Aid certificate
11. Sound knowledge of Workplace, Health & Safety requirements in a Health & Lifestyle role
12. Proof of working rights within Australia
13. Current Driver’s Licence
14. Remote work experience (highly regarded)
