We’re looking for a People and Safety Manager to help us foster a positive workplace culture and ensure the highest safety standards across our office and project sites.About the RoleReporting to the General Counsel, this hybrid role blends Work Health & Safety (WHS) leadership with HR advisory responsibilities. You will work closely with managers, project teams, and employees to develop and implement safety initiatives, support HR processes, and ensure compliance with workplace regulations.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, implement, and maintain WHS policies and procedures in line with legislation.Conduct site visits, safety audits, and risk assessments to proactively manage safety risks.Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions.Deliver safety training and onboarding programs for employees and subcontractors.Provide HR advice on performance management, grievances, and compliance matters.Support employee engagement, well-being initiatives, and learning & development programs.Monitor safety and HR compliance, keeping up to date with regulatory changes.About You5+ years of experience in a related role, ideally within energy, construction, or field-based industries.Strong knowledge of WHS legislation, Fair Work Act, and industry standards.Experience with workplace investigations, return-to-work programs, and training delivery.Confident communicator who can build strong relationships across teams.Hands-on, solutions-focused, and proactive in identifying and addressing risks.What We OfferA dynamic, fast-growing company where your work has real impact.A collaborative and supportive team environment.Blended office and site-based work, with opportunities to engage across different areas of the business.Competitive salary and benefits.How do your skills match this job?Your application will include the following questions:Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in Australia?Have you worked in a role which requires a sound understanding of OH&S/WHS?What's your expected annual base salary?Do you have a current Australian driver's licence?Do you own or have regular access to a car?
