The Department of Health is seeking suitably qualified applicants for an Allied Health Professional - CAMHS (526895d) vacancy. Please note this position is also being advertised as a Clinical Nurse Specialist - CAMHS (526895) vacancy and only one position will be filled on merit.

Work across a multi-disciplinary work environmentFocus on ongoing professional and career developmentPermanent role - relocation allowance may be available for the right applicantThe Role:As part of a multidisciplinary team delivering high quality mental health services in accordance with the Mental Health Services Strategic Plan, Mental Health Service principles, National Mental Health Standards, Agency policy, legal requirements and relevant professional competencies, the Allied Health Professional will:
Undertake the delivery of quality recovery focused services to clients of the Child and Adolescent, Adult Community, Inpatient and Extended Treatment and Older Persons Mental Health Service based on best practice principles and within a recovery framework. Service delivery is within a collaborative and multidisciplinary framework, that includes those with lived experiences.Provide a specialist assessment and consumer lead treatment service to clients of Child and Adolescent, Adult Community, Inpatient and Extended Treatment and Older Persons Mental Health Service and their families or carers.Promote community awareness in relation to mental health and develop and enhance relationships with other mental health service providers. Act as a consultant to other agencies with regard to the support and management of clients with mental health needs.Details of appointment: Allied Health Professional, Level 3. Permanent full time, day worker position, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible. *notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.

Salary:$110,425 - $121,907 per annum. Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
Salary range is in accordance with Allied Health Professionals Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement No. 2 of 2022. You'll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.Please note that access to salaries beyond $119,290 is subject to qualifications and/or application to the personal upgrade scheme.Salary Packaging:You'll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year.

Satisfactory completion of an approved allied health professional tertiary qualification/program of study and registered with the relevant National Board or, in the case of self-regulated allied health professions, full membership/eligible for membership with the relevant professional association.Current Working with Children Registration (where applicable as determined by individual position requirements).Current Driver's Licence.Note: - Please refer to the Application Guide for more information of Essential requirements, Desirable requirements and pre-employment check.
