This will be a F/T 12-month contract on commencement, with opportunity to extend.About this opportunityIn this role, you’ll maintain and enhance our client’s project risk processes and profiles, collaborating with project teams and key contractors to review and integrate their risk processes and registers with major project risks.Key Responsibilities include:Support public and private sector clients in designing, implementing, and continually improving best-practice risk management and project controls frameworks.Promote a risk-aware culture across the project by increasing awareness, understanding, and commitment to risk management practices, including facilitating risk workshops as required.Develop and maintain risk reporting templates to monitor program/project contingency and potential scope modifications throughout the project lifecycle.Implement a program of risk reviews and reports to provide an accurate understanding of actual and potential risk exposures across the program/project, delivering solutions, mitigations, and corrective actions as needed.Ensure risk identification, evaluation, and mitigation processes are integrated into the program/project to support informed decision-making.Develop, update, and maintain the risk register to manage the program/project risk profile effectively.Provide expert advice to the program/project management team on all aspects of risk management.About you:Experience in risk management for large-scale civil infrastructure projects in Australia, such as roads, rail, utilities, or buildings.Familiarity with public and private sector procurement and project delivery frameworks (e.g., D&C, Alliance, PPP).Exceptional communication skills and experience managing complex projects with diverse stakeholders.
