Our commitment to meeting the dynamic needs of modern grocery clients is what fuels our continued growth and success.Reporting to the National Business Manager, this role will be responsible for managing the end-user customer relationships in the Independent Grocery channel across the portfolio of DKSH Client brands like Lipton, Perrier, Nando’s, Little Bellies, La Zuppa. A highly autonomous role, you will own the customers in the independents channel across SA, delivering sales growth, new distribution, territory coverage & managing key MSO’s.Key responsibilities:Servicing and growing the territory/customers on a regular ‘call cycle’ basisPlanning weekly ‘call cycle’ including promotions, submission of new lines, and marketingAchieving distribution of core lines in storesBuilding key customer relationships across various levels of stakeholdersGaining optimum position of all products on shelf and on displayStock ordering and Merchandising including display set-upExceeding monthly sales targetsManaging local multisite operator groups within territoryWork closely with cross-functional teams (e.g. Business Insights, Marketing, Finance, Customer Service, Supply Chain) to ensure efficient and effective executionUse customer relationship management systems to build the database of customers and manage these customers effectively and provide timely and accurate data and reportsTo be successful you will possess:Minimum 3 years FMCG experience within Independent Grocery experienceDemonstrate advanced knowledge and understanding of the industry/ market/ competitors/ customersExisting relationships with key MSO’s (multi-site operators) - Drakes, Chapleys, Romeos, Foodland house) and Independent StoresDemonstrating strong relationship and selling skills and proven key customer management experience, in Independent Grocery channel is a mustDemonstrate solid negotiation and strong communication skillsGood knowledge of MS Office applications, specifically ExcelExtensive experience with CRM systemsAn enthusiastic go-getter with excellent time management, an eye for detail and works well under pressureAn organised approach to planning in advanceA valid Australian drivers’ licenceA degree in Business/Marketing or related fields (desirable)If you are ready to take the next step in your career and be part of a thriving global company, DKSH invites you to explore this exciting opportunity.
