Utilise your skills and experience to make a real impact.Permanent part-time opportunity for an experienced and adaptive Patient Service Assistant (PSA) to support our busy Post-Anaesthesia Care Unit (PACU).The RoleReporting to the Nurse Unit Manager, and working closely with PACU, theatre and ward staff, the Patient Service Assistant is required to:Collection and transporting patients to and from the peri-operative area, PACU and wardsEnsuring the recovery and pre-operative area is maintained appropriately and equipment requirements are metAssisting recovery RNs with patient positioning and necessary equipment needsAssisting with stock delivery and replenishment as requiredCleaning and waste removalCarry out other duties under the direction of the team co-ordinator.This position will suit an enthusiastic individual with strong communication skills and ability to thrive on being a part of a busy recovery department.
