Position Overview: We’re looking for a driven and results-oriented Business Development Manager to take the lead in driving growth within the fit out and refurbishment sector. Your focus will be on forging strong relationships with external project managers and consultants, with a particular emphasis on the public sector and government education projects. As a go-getter with a deep understanding of the industry, you'll play a pivotal role in expanding our reach, building strategic partnerships, and delivering high-impact solutions that meet the unique needs of our clients. Key Responsibilities: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the fit out and refurbishment market, targeting project managers and consultants. Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand our client base. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including project managers, consultants, and government officials. Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs are met throughout the project lifecycle. Collaborate with internal teams to create compelling proposals tailored to potential clients. Present project proposals, articulating the value and benefits of our services. Monitor and analyse market trends, client feedback, and competitive landscape to inform strategies. Prepare reports on sales performance, pipeline status, and market insights for senior management. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field is preferred but not essential. Minimum of 4 years of experience in business development within the fit out, refurbishment, or construction sectors. Proven track record in developing relationships with project managers and consultants, especially in the public sector. Strong understanding of the industry, including project lifecycle and regulatory requirements. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
