The role: Business Development Manager
* Full time – Permanent Position (Mon -Fri)

* Base salary + 20k (Company Vehicle) + Super + Quarterly Bonus

About the Role:
We’re seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join a great team. This key role is focused on driving new business growth across various sectors, including Healthcare, Retail, BSC, Food Service, and Hospitality. You’ll be responsible for acquiring new customers, nurturing existing relationships, and analyzing market trends to meet sales targets and exceed expectations. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, a strong communicator, and someone who thrives in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute innovative business development plans across multiple sectors in Australia.
* Drive sales growth by researching and acquiring new accounts, leveraging industry expertise and market intelligence.
* Cultivate relationships with key customers and customer groups to maximize business potential.
* Analyse current and emerging customer needs to assess market trends and enhance business strategies.
* Monitor competitor activities and create strategic responses to maintain a competitive edge.
* Foster and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers in customer organizations.
* Lead the creation and delivery of compelling tender presentations and proposals.
* Manage customer training and education programs to ensure product knowledge and success.
* Set and track goals and objectives for yourself and your team to ensure alignment with overall business targets.
* Utilise Salesforce or other CRM systems to track and update sales activities and progress.
* Provide regular performance reports, tracking KPIs and identifying areas for improvement.
* Collaborate closely with internal teams, including Engineering and Application Specialists, to craft relevant value propositions for customers.
About You:
* 5+ years of proven business development experience with a strong track record of success in sales and account management.
* Chemical background is a bonus!
* Strong financial acumen, including the ability to interpret financial data, manage budgets, and oversee P&L responsibilities.
* Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to sell a comprehensive package of services and products.
* Demonstrated success in winning large corporate accounts and cultivating long-term customer relationships.
* A strategic mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions, plan effectively, and execute high-level goals.
* Self-motivation and strong organizational skills, with the ability to set clear goals and consistently achieve them.
* Proficiency in CRM systems such as Salesforce, along with advanced skills in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
* Flexibility to travel within Australia and internationally as needed.
* A valid driver’s license and the ability to work comfortably in a matrix organization.
