The Opportunity The General Manager will play a hands-on role in the management and success of the asset, comprising Restaurant, Events and Accommodation. Key duties & responsibilities include: Direct business activities, for the achievement of short- and long-term business /policy objectives, increased profit, and greater market share. Prepare and present budgets, reports, forecasts and timelines in a timely manner. Manage budgets, financial performance, and cost controls for all business units. Deliver a world-class guest experience by maintaining the highest standards of luxury, service, and attention to detail. Drive marketing initiatives to enhance business brand image and attract high-value clientele. Oversee the development of promotional campaigns for the hotel, restaurant, and winery experiences. Appoint and manage key executive and management personnel. Control and be accountable for the HR function and practices for all employees in your division. Work with key colleagues to create a dynamic, success driven, team-oriented culture. Experience Required The preferred candidate will have depth of experience in the hospitality sector, at a senior management level. You will have a track record of success in a similar organisation and will be suited to a premium asset, possessing high level communication skills and presentation. In addition to your industry skills and knowledge, you will be highly motivated and will possess the ability to manage teams and drive success.
