Our Cairns Office seeks a skilled Legal Practitioner in Criminal Law. Our dedicated workplace supports many communities from Cairns to Weipa, Aurukun, Cooktown, and the Atherton Tablelands, with strong services in the youth jurisdiction. This opportunity is ideal for someone wishing to build on hearings experience and work within a carefully rostered court circuit.To be successful in this role, you will need at least two years' PAE experience, but those with less are welcome to apply if you have demonstrated advocacy skills and court acumen. Your experience with both Duty Lawyer type responsibilities and Hearings will be a distinct advantage, as will provision of service in the youth jurisdiction.
