Job Description We are looking for an HSE Advisor / Trainer Assessor to join our team where you will monitor and support the safety function of our Kimberly project and provide HSE and Training support and coordination of safety practices, systems, and procedures.With a work-life balance of an 8/6 roster, on a day shift only, you will work closely with site personnel, management, and other key stakeholders ensuring the safe delivery of the contract.Reporting to the HSE Manager, your duties will include:Manage compliance with all relevant Work Health and Safety legislation.Ensure compliance with the safety systems and procedures within the workplace and provide operational support to the project management team.Participate in incident investigations and make recommendations for corrective actions.Conduct safety inductions and in-house training.Conduct routine safety inspections and monitoring work areas.Communicate HSE initiatives in daily pre-start meetings, induction programs, and toolbox meetings.Conduct hazard observations and risk assessments.Undertake regular internal HSE audits.Attend client HSE meetings.Liaise with 3rd party quality inspectors, auditors, clients, and other stakeholders as applicable.Research and assist with the development of safety policies specific to the project.Establish positive working relationships with project personnel and raise awareness of safety risks.Assist in the development of communications tools and records for all project safety meetings.Prepare and maintain reports and documentation concerning the aspects of project safety programs.Evaluate, investigate, and gather information that will address inadequacies concerning safety matters.Applicants will require:Tertiary qualifications in WHS, OHC, and/or closely related discipline.Cert IV in Training and Assessing (TAE 41016/TAE40122).Valid open and unrestricted drivers' license.Senior First Aid and CPR.Competent understanding of current workplace health and safety legislation in Western Australia.Proficient experience with Microsoft Office.Experience in HSEQ in a Site Based role with the Mining sector.
