Your new role: Your new role will eventually be office-based with some flexibility to work from home; right now, almost all of the team are working from home. The role will be to support the Regional Sales team in 3 key areas: Managing a portfolio of smaller customers who need yearly contact. Answering commercial client calls that overflow from the Sales Reps and actioning orders and taking enquiries on delivery orders. New business development by calling lost customers and referring those leads to the Sales teams and researching new niche markets. Your skills: To be successful you will need to have the following: Previous experience in a similar role or strong phone-based customer service. Not scared of calling people on the phone. Customer-centric mindset. Clear communication skills. Self-driven and motivated. Experience liaising with internal stakeholders such as transport and accounts.
