AboutTwin Waters Golf Club on the Sunshine Coast and ABIA Club Wedding Venue winner in 2024 is looking for a full-time motivated, experienced, and engaging Wedding and Events Manager to join our team.Twin Waters Golf Club is a prestigious 18 holes golf course north of the Sunshine Coast surrounded by rolling greens and crisp fairways. An ideal location for weddings with private and secluded gardens and picturesque photography locations so beautiful our couples and bridal parties stay on-site escorted in buggies by us for their bridal photography!As well as golf events, Twin Waters golf club hosts many weddings, corporate and social celebrations. The past few years have seen growth to Twin Waters Golf Club Weddings and Events and infrastructure, with systems put in place to continue growth and welcome a new senior manager. The successful applicant will be working with other managers and likeminded caring staff who exhibit the same values.The roleThe key focus will be the operational execution of Weddings inclusive of the one on one wedding planning process with clients, through to the set-up & coordination of the day’s proceedings.Our first priority are our clients, ensuring they have an amazing overall experience. Together with the outstanding kitchen brigade the front of house team all have the same view to ensure guests receive excellent service and amazing food.As the Wedding and Events Manager, you shall work closely with club management to fulfil the following tasks independently, and with autonomy.Key Responsibilities:Confidently execute planning appointments with couples in a face to face fashion, understanding that some after hours and weekend appointments shall be required in order to best suit couples time frames & requirements.Convert planning details into run sheets via iVvy event management system, inclusive of preparing back of house costings, order of service details, catering & beverage information, alongside administrative and logistical details in relation to all wedding details.Provide dedicated administrative support to couples, until and inclusive of the day of the wedding to ensure the smooth & seamless coordination of all wedding planning requirements.Manage all Wedding related operational tasks with support of management, in all coordination aspects inclusive of liaising with all internal and external suppliers for logistical requirements.
