Introduction:

We are seeking a highly enthusiastic and motivated Production Technician in our operations department.
Key functions for this role are:
* Performs the following functions as a Production Technician in the assembly, software burning and testing process area.
o Perform all aspects of Production’s Software (SW) /Firmware (FW) duplication and installation tasks on a day-to-day basis.
o Inventory control of raw materials (USB drives, memory card, EEPROMs) and finished goods (Games and Firmware) in the software duplication room.
o Ensure software approval status is checked for all game software.
o Ensure EEPROM’s, shells, flashes are correctly labelled and loaded with software.
o Performs electrical test on all Electronic Gaming Machines (EGM) in production.
o Perform functional tests on all Electronic Gaming Machines (EGM) in production.
o Identify and reject non-functional parts.
o Investigate and report component failures.
* Liaise with other departments to fulfil the sales orders.
* Participate or initiate continuous improvement activities in the company.
Key experiences for this role are:
* Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment
* Understanding of production, bills of material, configuration sheets, manufacturing process work instructions (MPI’s) and OH&S regulations.
* Actively improving and upgrading skills as required within a dynamic work environment.
* Computer literacy with experience in Microsoft applications.
The following requirements are a must:
* 2+ years’ experience in a similar role.
* Relevant TAFE qualifications or similar training.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
* Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
