About the Role: An exciting opportunity for an experienced Financial Accountant to join a well-established for-purpose organisation on a 9-month contract.
This role has been created to support the finance team as they navigate a period of structural review, ensuring continuity in financial operations while allowing team members to focus on strategic improvements.
The Role: Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for key financial accounting duties, including: Month-end activities such as bank reconciliations, general ledger reconciliations, journals, and reporting.
Assisting in the preparation of the audit.
Supporting financial year-end audit activities.
Engaging in cross-project work as required.
About You You are a self-motivated, highly organised individual with a strong foundation in financial accounting.
Your expertise is in audit preparation, financial reporting, and year-end processes.
Qualifications and Experience CPA/CA qualification or equivalent.
Proven experience in financial accounting, with a focus on audit processes.
Problem-solving mindset with the ability to navigate complex financial scenarios.
The ability to engage with colleagues in a collaborative manner.
Not-for-profit experience is highly regarded but not essential.
