About the role South West Healthcare (SWH) is looking for a qualified and experienced Senior Mental Health Clinician to join our Centralised Triage Team. The team provides mental health screening assessments and directs care to the most appropriate team for assessment and treatment or provides warm referral to an appropriate provider if mental health services are not best placed to meet their needs. As Senior Clinician, you will be responsible for providing recovery oriented and trauma informed mental health triage and provide clinical support and leadership to colleagues within in the centralised triage team across a 24/7 roster. What you bring Working as part of a collaborative and highly skilled team of professionals, excellent verbal and written communication skills are also essential. A comprehensive understanding and knowledge of legislation, regulation and contemporary practice is a must. Qualification dependent you will have: Registered Nurse with appropriate tertiary qualifications, AHPRA Registration and at least 5 years' experience in the provision of mental health services. - Completed either Post Graduate Diploma in Mental Health Nursing or Masters of Mental Health Nursing (or other relevant Post Graduate Course) required or completion of a specialist undergraduate Mental Health Nursing program. Occupational Therapist with a Degree in Occupational Therapy and registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Registration Agency and at least 7 years of work experience in the provision of mental health services. Social Worker with a Degree in Social Work and eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers and at least 7 years of work experience in the provision of mental health services. Psychologist with Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency as a Psychologist with at least 5 years' experience in the provision of mental health services.
